GreenWorks has been involved in solar energy research and development since 2008. In its commercial solar development, GreenWorks partners with Solar Renewable Energy, LLC, of Mechanicsburg, PA, a CPA-driven commercial solar development company. New zones
Rooftop solar installations are ballasted systems that sit on the roof and require no roof membrane penetrations. The arrays are rated for 120 mph winds. GWD/SRE will work with the building’s roofing contractor to ensure the roof warranty remains intact after solar installation.

Currently two of the largest K-12 arrays in Pennsylvania, the Midd-West School District in Middleburg and the Tamaqua Area School District, were developed by GreenWorks/SRE. Another K-12 project, the Central Columbia School District array, will join the list of the largest in PA when it turns on in March of 2023.
